B.L.T. Sandwich

My deepest apologies for being MIA recently. I’m sure none of you are too heartbroken. It’s not my fault tho, the other day I was walking down the stairs and BAM! life happened. It’s been pretty crazy ever since.

I mean no offense. I truly believe that interweb life is just as important as real life.

Then again my blog isn’t going to grow some sort of fungal disease if I don’t bathe it unlike my child so, yea, just trying to prioritize here. Important. It’s a relative term.

Okay, moving on. This is a B.L.T. If you need me to explain to you what a B.L.T. is then well, we aren’t friends.

It’s another one of those sandwiches that is just perfect without any fanciness because all of the parts and flavors go together so well I’m sure it’s against someone’s religion somewhere in the world.

One of the more important parts that ironically enough doesn’t have a place in the name of this sandwich is our beloved mayonnaise.

I’m not trying to be ultra boring here but I sat around yesterday with my husband trying to figure out how to make this sandwich better, and well there was just no answer. Unless you put extra bacon on it, that would totally make it better. So I guess technically this is an E.B.L.T.

I will post more B.L.Ts in the future that are actually more variations of this acronym, like B.A.L.T and B.L.T.E.G. and B.G.I.O.W.D.L.T. and all kinds of other fancy stuff so don’t you worry.

Bacon Lettuce and Tomato Sandwich
Ingredients:
Bacon
Lettuce
Tomato
Mayonnaise
Bread

Directions:
Yes I probably should have just left it at the title, especially since like I’ve told you before I’m not going to get into how to cook bacon. It’s pretty simple, heat a pan, put it in, flip it. Google.

Put all this stuff on the bread (I toast it, it’s supa good that way), and then eat it. mmmmmmm.
